BIO

Throughout her career, Cindy has collaborated with esteemed R&B artists such as Billy Paul, Phyllis Hyman, and Teddy Pendergrass.

She joined Patti LaBelle on a USA tour and worked closely with three-time Emmy Award winner Bill Jolly, who assisted in creating, producing, and arranging some of her most acclaimed musical tracks.

Her dynamic performances have also graced the stage of the popular television show "Showtime at the Apollo."

Trained by renowned voice and fitness guru Owen Brown—mentor to artists like Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, and City High—Cindy has firmly established herself among the top echelon of R&B vocalists. Her extensive career includes national and international tours, television appearances, and recordings with industry luminaries such as Skip Scarborough, songwriter for Earth, Wind & Fire, and former W.M.O.T. Records A&R executive Nick Martinelli.

She has performed with or opened for The Delfonics, Enchantment, the Bobby Jones Gospel Show, and the late Nancy Wilson and Bobby Womack.

As the former lead vocalist for the gospel recording group Jericho, Cindy was featured on their album singing "I Was Nothing." She appeared on Les Paul Roque's project entitled "Dare 2B Different" and formed her own gospel group, Cindy Cooper & Prayz.

The group performed throughout the Bible Belt, showcasing her debut CD "Somebody Somewhere Loves Me," a 12-track album expressing love and praise for Jesus Christ.

An avid songwriter and educator, Cindy teaches piano and voice. She penned and performed the house track "Call On Me," which gained significant exposure in London, UK.

Currently, she is preparing to release a new CD featuring brand-new material, co-writing with Crissy O and Melanie at Music-and-More Studio in Wilson, North Carolina.
